A difficult site with challenging access, the modest 7,800 sq ft site is mostly occupied by the new home placed on it. Our charge was to maximize the outdoor living space, provide adequate parking and contain a small dog! Permeable pavements, both natural and manmade, were required to meet the strict permeability requirements of the State and Town. Concrete walls were poured and veneered to match the house, Native species combined with more ornamental plant materials were introduced to provide a balance of seasonal interest and improved habitat.
